Kettering Guide Shop The Northamptonshire County Guide Depot, located in Kettering, stocks all uniforms, books, badges and other girlguiding related items.

We are closed during the school holidays at Easter, Summer and Christmas (open during the half term holidays) and Bank Holiday Mondays that fall in term time. We accept cash and card payments. Sorry no personal cheques, but unit cheques accepted. We do operate a mail order service. Orders can be made by telephone or email, but please be advised that orders can take varying times to arrive. This depends on when the manager goes into the shop to check the order book, whether the items are in stock or have to be ordered in and, if so, whether they are in stock at our supplier. It can take just a few days for items that are in stock to several weeks for items that are out of stock at the supplier. All our staff are volunteers including the manager, who also has a full time job, and will fit in posting around this, so your patience is appreciated. Postage is charged at cost and an invoice is enclosed with your parcel. Please pay this within 14 days - in this case personal cheques will be accepted, with your name and contact number on the back.

This years’ Remembrance badges and pins are inspired by the theme of uniform - a nod to the incredible resourcefulness shown by Girlguiding members during the Second World War.

When materials were scarce, girls and leaders didn’t stop; they made, mended, stitched, and adapted their uniforms so guiding could continue. These designs honour that spirit of determination, community and quiet strength.

50% of all profits from every badge and pin go to the Royal British Legion, supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families 🌹
