We’re looking for a Sessional Worker to join EnFold!

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and inclusive person to support our work with autistic people, primarily at our Daventry Adult Social Group on Fridays, 6–9pm.

You’ll help us create a welcoming space where people can connect, feel included and enjoy being part of their community.

There may also be opportunities to support:
• 1:1 sessions
• YAAP (Young Person’s Autism Advisory Project)
• Cover for other Adult Social Group sessions

This is a flexible, sessional position, with hours offered as required. You’ll be paid hourly for the hours you work.

If you’re passionate about making a difference, promoting inclusion and supporting autistic people, we’d love to hear from you.

Kettering Adult Social Group – this Friday! 💗

A quick reminder that our Kettering Adult Social Group is meeting this Friday 4th September.

🕙 10am–12 noon
📍 Montagu Street Children’s Hub

Come along for a relaxed and welcoming morning making cards with the group.

No pressure to join in the activity. Feel free to come along and meet others, chat, or bring your own quiet activity.

£3 per session (card payment preferred), or £10 monthly subscription option to attend as many EnFold group sessions as you like.

New members welcome age 18+

Are you neurodivergent, disabled (Physical or learning disability), Deaf or a person living with disabilities or autistic?
Are you an Artist or Creative person interested in one of these areas:
Film and TV. Publishing. Art including Fine Art and Festivals, Advertising. Performing Arts

Apply to our free Creative Development Programme.

The Creative Place. October to December 2026. Online or in person

To apply you can:

Write us an email. Send us a voicenote or video. Visit the creative place for a chat.

Tell us about:

Yourself and your creativity. What area you work in (e.g. Film). Something you want to work towards (e.g. something you want to improve on, a job you want to get or an event you would like to run).

Everyone that applies will be invited to 3 free sessions to develop your creativity.

6 people will take part in a 3 month process to develop as a Creative, working with mentors and using The Creative Place to test out your ideas.

There is no cost. We will work with you to design the programme around your needs including in-person or remote. Applications close 25 September or when we have received 35 applications. We may start allocating from 10 September.

The Creative Place is the world's smallest arts centre on Northampton Market Square.

It is run by non-profit Northampton Film Festival.

You can also come into The Creative Place. We are usually open Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm but check with us before travelling sometimes we close for events.

We’ve got a couple of exciting things happening at YAAP this week!

🎨 Get creative with Creative at heART
Dean will be joining us, giving young people the chance to create their own piece of artwork which can then be printed onto an item of their choice – such as a drinks bottle, cap, teddy bear, mug or clothing item!

🎥 Video Storytelling Project
Ariana will also be back to continue our video storytelling project. She’ll be filming parts of the session and interviewing young people who would like to get involved.

💛 There’s absolutely no pressure to take part in either activity. You’re very welcome to just come along, hang out and enjoy the evening. We’ll also have colouring, games and something crafty on offer.

YAAP is for young people aged 11–25.
