As National Cadets Week comes to a close, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who shared their photos and memories over the last few days. Seeing your journeys reminds us just how life-changing the Cadet experience really is!

In fact, it’s so impactful that many Cadets choose to stay on as adult volunteers—giving back to the next generation and ensuring more young people get the same fantastic opportunities they had.

Ready to see what we're all about? We're currently booking unit tours for prospective Cadets, parents, and volunteers.

✉️ Email us at [email protected] to book your tour or to chat about volunteering opportunities.

On Thursday night we held Divisions. Number 1 uniform was inspected and during lesson time we talked about the history of our unit, the opportunities available, why we attend Cadets and what we hope to achieve. We also celebrated an RMC promotion to Lance Corporal🥳

🗣 This is what some of our Cadets had to say...

Cadets save lives.

It's a simple as that.

Air and CCF Cadet Sam Ellis appeared on the BBC this week and spoke about using first aid training which thankfully saved the life of cyclist Nigel Owen.

He's not alone.

Young people across the country are saving lives with skills and confidence learned from being Cadets.

Over the years, the Northants Telegraph has captured so many incredible achievements of Cadets and staff. These stories are a fantastic reminder of just how talented and dedicated these young people and volunteers are, and how much value they bring to our local community!

Our OIC found a certificate from his time as an Army Cadet, perfectly illustrating how serving the community has always been a cornerstone of any Cadet's journey.
