Last week was loads of fun at Leisure Link! We did loads of activities including cooking a delicious lunch, singing along with Spencer and having a great time on Karaoke! We held a coffee morning for a great catch up with each other, enjoyed a session in our sensory room and we even ventured into fantasy with the help of AI and created some amazing 'news stories!'.

We had a laugh yesterday with Animal Bingo and created a 'wild' atmosphere with our own animal sounds and actions!! Not sure what people thought was happening in the centre but we enjoyed monkeying around!! :) From looking at the photo...can you guess what animals Sara & Tracy are?

We've been a bit creative this week writing and typing up our own stories. It was great fun and some were really funny! We've been doing dancing, tai chi, quizzes and puzzles, nail art and arts and crafts, we also had a lovely day out at Sutton Park :)

On Monday we had a visit from Bradford Council (who check to make sure we are doing everything right)... they said "it is obvious how person-centred the service is and you should be proud of what you deliver here." Not bad eh?!

This week we had a quiz competition using the tablets, helping us to brush up on our knowledge and computer skills.

We took a trip to Darley Street Market and enjoyed some lovely food.

We have baked cookies and made salt dough with left over ingredients.

We have created some amazing art work with our life drawing activity and we always try to get some exercise too!

We've had a varied day today, we've been playing games, colouring, puppet and bracelet making, singing football songs, playing ballon badminton and pool and Tracey went out into town to buy some well-deserved treats!

We've been cooking up a storm this week with a delicious chicken and spinach curry and a chocolate sponge . We all demonstrated our food tech talents and then enjoyed the tasty treat afterwards! :)

We've had a wonderful day sat out in the glorious sunshine! Games, chilling, ice lollies and bubbles!
We rembered to slap on the suncreen and hats to keep safe! :)

Today we went into town to watch the military parade. It was great! We met the Town Mayor Andrea Walker and David got to hold her staff.
