An enchanting day exploring Ilkley Moors, a guided tour took us through the natural landscape highlighting different parts of the moors, identifying berries and different plants.
As well as captivating the moors scenic views, the walk promoted fitness, improved wellbeing, relaxation and some local knowledge.
For most participants this was their first visit to the moors and they have confirmed it's certainly not their last!
The pleasant day ended with a delicious picnic on the moors including tea and coffee.

A big thanks to Bradford Culture Company for this wonderful trip

A special thank you must go to our dedicated staff and volunteers, who have gone above and beyond to make the summer scheme such an amazing success. Their commitment, energy and enthusiasm have been at the heart of everything we have delivered. From supporting trips and activities to encouraging young people to get involved, creating a welcoming environment and going the extra mile each day, their hard work and dedication have made a real difference.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the parents who participated, supported the activities and encouraged their children throughout the scheme. Your involvement and support have helped make the programme such a great success.

We are incredibly proud of everything our young people have achieved and the wonderful memories they have created together. Most importantly, we have loved seeing them have fun, try new things, challenge themselves and enjoy being part of the Sangat Summer Scheme. 💚🌞
