Summer holidays over! Last public holiday over! Soon the dark nights will be upon us so what about stocking up on some good reading which won't empty your pocket?

The Summer Reading Challenge starts tomorrow, Saturday 4 July for children aged from 4 to 11 years but younger are welcome to join in too.

Children must be a member of the library to join in. If not already a member you can join for free so please ask one of the friendly volunteers at the library for an application form.

Something seems to have gone awry with this post hence posting it again - the update of the SRC procedure took place on Saturday to enable the friendly and willing volunteers to deal efficiently with the numerous requests to join the challenge!
