💛 The End of a Very Special Chapter 💛

After 15 incredible years, Kim has made the difficult decision to step down as Principal of KPYA following the production of Matilda Jr. This November.

Alongside Kim, Lauren, Ethan, and Gemma will also be saying goodbye to KPYA, making Matilda Jr, an incredibly special and emotional final show for us all.

KPYA has been such a huge part of our lives. We’ve watched so many young people grow in confidence, find their voices, make lifelong friendships, and achieve things they perhaps never thought possible.

There have been hundreds of rehearsals, many shows, plenty of laughter, a few tears, and more memories than we could ever count. We are incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved and, most importantly, of every young person who has been part of KPYA.

It feels fitting that our final production together will be Matilda Jr — a story about courage, friendship, believing in yourself, and finding your voice.

📚 Matilda Jr
📅 26th–28th November 2026
📍 Iveshead School, Forest Street, Shepshed

There will be plenty of time for thank-yous and reminiscing before we take our final bow. For now, we have one last show to make incredibly special.

15 years. Countless memories. One final show. 💛🎭
