Back in 2000 the 2 Rotary Clubs in Ilkley (The Rotary Club of Ilkley and its sister Club The Rotary Club of Ilkley Wharfedale) joined together in a project to mark the new millennium.
The result was the amazing Ilkley Bandstand which has proven over the years to be a valuable asset both to residents and visitors alike.
This year (2026) marks the 25th year of it being completed and to celebrate this milestone a celebration concert will be held at Christchurch on the Grove next to the Bandstand site featuring the City of Bradford Brass Band.
Martin Smith the current Chairman of the Bandstand Management Committee and current President of the Rotary Club of Ilkley said “we wanted to celebrate this important anniversary with the people of Ilkley who have enjoyed the Bandstand over the years”
