Following on from the recent duty increases on Alcohol, brought in by the government, we are having to increase the price of some, but not all, of our drinks.

The price of all wines and spirits will be increased to keep pace with the increase.

The good news is that the cost of our draft beers will be remaining at the same low price you are used to, due to the changes in the duty rates not affecting draft beers.

The cost of our soft and non alcoholic drinks and snacks are not affected by this increase.

Quick reminder for everyone

OSCA's bar operates a Challenge 25 policy. This means if you are UNDER the age of 25, or if the staff on duty think you are lucky enough to look under 25, you will be asked to show some form of acceptable I.D.

What's acceptable? Well you may have a driving licence, or passport of a National Citizens I.D. card which has the PASS Hologram, all of these are acceptable.

What they wont accept is a birth certificate, bus pass, letter from your teacher or you parents vouching for you.

Don't be offended if you are asked for I.D. and don't give the staff hassle, they are doing their job AND complying with the licencing laws.

Don't forget, this also applies to when someone may be buying alcohol for someone else. Both of you must be over the legal age for drinking and be prepared to show I.D. if asked.
