We're proud to see our Active Travel Hub featured as part of West Yorkshire's continued investment in walking, wheeling and cycling. 🚶🚲

Our hub is helping people build confidence, access equipment and discover healthier, greener ways to travel around their community. It's fantastic to be recognised as part of a growing network making active travel more accessible for everyone.

Our Ward Link Workers Dan Marham and Daniel Hood have been out with staff and the Junior Wardens from Lee Mount Academy conducting a speed check on Wheatley Road.

The children enjoyed learning about the speed gun and displayed great enthusiasm when cheering those drivers adhering to the speed limits and giving a loud boo and thumbs down to those going over the limit.

The fastest recorded 4 wheeled vehicle was travelling at 48mph whilst a motorbike was recorded travelling at 67mph.
