Central Youth Club & Central Stars Youth Club Central Youth Club is an Open Access youth club for young people aged 8-17 yrs, Stars is for 8-25 yrs with SEND.

Central Youth Club
We are a registered charity that provides a safe environment for young people aged 8-19. Within the club young people can take part in a wide range of sports and other activities such as Football, Pool, Snooker, Table Tennis, Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Video Games are just a few things we offer. The club is open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6 pm till 9 pm and costs just 30p

per night with all activities within the venue FREE. Our SEN Seniors Central Stars youth Club is on Wednesday night 6pm till 9pm for 13 - 25 yrs, and our SEN Juniors Central Stars Youth Club is on Thursday Night 5pm till 8pm for 8 -12 yrs. These sessions are £3 per night and include drinks and a snack and offer all the activities above and more.

With the Summer School Holidays on the horizon and hopefully lots of hot sunny weather to come we have arranged visits to Huddersfirld Fire Station for a short educational safety talk on water safety!
Following the high number of recent tragic deaths of young people in recent weeks we feel it is important for our members to be made aware of the Dangers & What they should do if they find someone in trouble. 40 minute sessuons are planned for the following dates.

Thurs 2nd July 5.30pm

Our young people recently had the opportunity to visit Huddersfield University and the Barbara Hepworth Building.
There they were able to view an exhibition of their work having created several Rap music videos and been involved in a 2D Denim jacket design project.
Members & their families were invitrd to watch the completed videos and view the work. They met local yet worls wide renown Artist Ian Berry who now lives and works in London who's work is all made from denim. And met up again with Daniel Johnson Gray the filmtographer and Rob Bradley aka jackflash a freestyle rapper who guided our young people while making the videos. This was all made possible thanks to Kathy Coates- Mohammed & Stephanie Bartholet, directors of Elevate Arts and Sahpe North Ltd, also Tracy Brabin via the Mayors safer Communities Fund.

We had a blast yet again at Our Easter HAF provision over the Easter School Holidays.
Thanks to Kirklees Council Schools Out Team and the Ept of Education for yet again providing the funds to support this fantastic Provision in the holidays. We are busy planning Our Summer HAF sessions so keep an eye on our social media platforms

Once again with the Support of One Community & the
Household Winter Support Fund, we aided Families & individuals by providing energy vouchers, hygiene packs as well as basic staple cupboard food parcels.
The funding also allowed us to provide hot meals & snacks for all young people who attended our sessions.
The young people were actively involved in making the dishes which inclufed Curries, Tortilla Wraps, Faje Nando's and sweet treats like Fruit Loaded Pancakes.
In the current economic climate the help and support from ourselves, One Community and The Household Winter Support Fund yet again proved invaluable.
