New Horizons - Huddersfield New Horizons is a Scout group in Huddersfield. We have 5 sections, beavers, Cubs, scout girls, Scout Boys and ,Explorer Girls.

Beavers had a blast in the woods, conquering the cave bus and racing down the cresta run!
Cubs got hands-on with outdoor cooking, while Scout girls and boys learned how to pitch tents like pros.

Our Cubs explored Tesco, diving into the world of brands, budgets, and smart shopping.
Meanwhile, the Scout girls cooked up a storm with teamwork and talent in a delicious cook-off!

Our Scout Boys had a fantastic first session back this weekend putting their teamwork and pioneering skills to the test by building and sailing their very own rafts!

The Scouts were both thrilled and relieved to see their creations hold strong on the water – and not a single one of them ended up falling in!

Well done to all the Scouts for their determination and teamwork – a true adventure from start to finish!

We couldn't actually close without sharing 'New Horizons-Ice bucket challenge! Where the scouts finally got their own back..you voted and we listened. Leaders Syra, Rehana, Amnah and Saeeda were all amazing sports for agreeing and accepting their fate.

As we close for the Summer we wanted to appreciate all our amazing scouts and leaders for a fantastic year. A lovely morning of awards, recognising all the hard work our scouts have put into the year and saying farewell to our cub leader Rehana, after 6 years in scouting, she is taking a step back for a well deserved break. Thank you to all our parents for managing our hectic schedule.
