This week, we celebrate the contributions, resilience and strength of the individuals and families who have sought safety and built a new lives in the UK.

Let’s join us to share, learn and support different cultures with a series of events across Kirklees!

This Way for English

This Way for English (TW4E) is a programme which aims to engage with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to assess English language ESOL needs as well as identify more holistic needs. During the COVID crisis we have changed our mode of operation and now provide online assessments. If you would like to refer yourself or someone else for an assessment please send a Direct Message (DM) to this page.

Once participants have been assessed they can be referred free Migration Team ZOOM ESOL classes at an appropriate level. Or to other programs that are available in Kirklees.
