⛪Organ recital at St Stephen’s
🗓Friday 3rd July 2026 🕧 12:30 pm

👂Listen to Alessandro Bianchi for an exciting recital on our magnificent Conacher organ. Hear the organ put through its paces by an international touring virtuoso. Alessandro‘s programme is full of entertaining and colourful music. Please enjoy his playing and also to support the church.
Admission is free with all proceeds from a retiring collection donated to the mission and ministry of St Stephen’s Parish Church.

As the church recognises the importance of flowers, we are thankful for those who sponsor and arrange the beautiful, sweet smelling flowers that decorate our church, mark occasions and seasons, and celebrate in memory of loved ones.

Flowers bloom in the churchyard as we strive towards being an eco church.💐

The Communion service at St. John the Evangelist, Birkby, and Christ Church, Woodhouse, Huddersfield is at 09.15 and at Christ Church 10.45am.

The Welcome Centre. Food Bank and More have advised us of the following shortages:

🥫 Meat meals
🥫 Vegetarian meals
🪥 Toothbrushes
🦷 Toothpaste
🧴 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash
🌸 Sanitary products (unopened packets only)

These everyday essentials help them to provide not only food, but dignity, comfort, and practical support to people when they need it most.

Please continue to bring your donations to our church services and we will take them to the Welcome Centre.
