CHYPS at Kirklees & Calderdale RASAC We are a free and confidential support & counselling service for those living in Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

Our Child and Young Person service (CHYPS), which is part of KCRASAC, is specifically dedicated to support children and young people, aged 10 years and up, who have experienced r**e, sexual violence, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and domestic abuse. We provide a helpline service to offer emotional support which can be assessed by telephone, text, email and webchat. We also have an Independent

Sexual Violence Advisory (ISVA) service which can support those who have or are thinking of reporting to the police. All our counsellors are qualified to at least Diploma level and have specialist training around sexual and domestic violence. We are members of R**e Crisis, England and Wales and The Survivors Trust, and as members have been awarded service standards and good practice.
