Donations needed for our Little Stars Shops!

Our Little Stars Shops are always grateful for donations of good-quality nursery items, children's toys, books, games, and baby equipment. Your unwanted items can help us raise vital funds for Overgate Hospice.

We’re incredibly proud to share that the Overgate Hospice Charity Shop in Halifax has been shortlisted for Shop of the Year by the Charity Retail Association!

This nomination reflects the dedication, kindness and hard work of our incredible shop team and volunteers, who go above and beyond every day to support Overgate Hospice and our local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who donates, shops, and supports us - you help make achievements like this possible.

The winner will be announced in June, so we’ve got everything crossed! 💙

We’ll be at Tesco, Sowerby Bridge, this Saturday from 10am – 1pm collecting donations for our charity shops!

Every donation you give helps make a difference 💙

Your generosity supports vital care in our community - but there’s a side you might not always see.

Behind the scenes, every single donation is, opened, sorted by hand and carefully checked before it reaches our shop floor.

We can only sell items that are clean, complete, and in good condition. Unfortunately, damaged goods, broken items, or heavily worn clothing can’t be sold.

While we do everything we can to recycle and reuse, not everything can be saved and disposing of unusable items costs the Hospice money. Money that could be spent supporting patients and families.

That’s why we’re asking you to donate with care.

By donating thoughtfully, you’re helping us raise more funds, reduce waste and focus on what matters most - caring for our community
