So it was a dreary February day, but that’s never the case at Project C**t.
We were blessed to be visited by the amazingly talented Adelaide Taylor who came and entertained us at Rusty’s Coffee Club this afternoon.
I asked her to play this song and here she is straight off the cuff giving a stunning version of Yellow by Coldplay.
Check her out on instagram

Her new single is Mr Ventriloquist
Thank you Adelaide for brightening our day and we hope to see you again soon ❤️🎹🎶
This video looks like a good watch. We are also doing training at Project C**t on how to use the App.
Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Lynsey Ford to Project C**t.
A previously unused room was completely transformed so that Lynsey—supported by Ade and her wonderful mum—could host the Reuse Network’s “Buy Nothing New Week” Pop-Up Shop.
We want to say a heartfelt thank-you to Lynsey and all of the amazing partners who helped bring this to life, showing what can be achieved when our community comes together.
A huge thank-you also goes to everyone who worked so hard to turn the room into such a beautiful space. And of course, our deepest thanks to the @communityfoundationforcalderdale for funding this project through the Pat and Susan Russell Fund and for their continued support.
This room will carry on helping us change lives for good. Throughout December, it will become our festive grotto, where @equip4learning / @EllandsecretSanta will host their letter-writing sessions to Santa.

Introducing the very talented, Prithir Jith -
At 14, you're already showing incredible talent. We at Project C**t are lucky to regularly observe you play, and it's exciting to imagine how far you'll go on your musical journey through life! 🎼 🎶
What a fantastic moment! 🎼
We were privileged to witness Stephen Gott Pianist perform at Project C**t today. The Rusty’s Coffee Club piano has once again been played by a remarkably talented and experienced musician. 🎼
Thank you to all of our volunteers here at Project C**t.
Without your hard work and commitment, Project C**t wouldn't be what it is today!
Bravo!
To be just nominated for an award at the Community Foundation for Calderdale community spirit awards was on its own truly splendid. Then to share the room and be amongst other truly splendid organisations and listen to stories of how our community looks after its people was extremely heartwarming. To then leave as winners in the breakthrough category and for Ameen to leave with the volunteer of the year is mind blowing. Thank you CFFC we will cherish this moment forever.
Mick Moran, Artist, Musician and Fisherman. Exhibition now live at Project C**t
I meet some great people with some fantastic stories.
@johnnystott bobbed in today.
Talented chap who’s working his way through his journey.
Johnny played guitar from age 7 and has played all styles of music in alot of venues across the country. After many years of the rock and roll lifestyle his addiction became apparent so he asked for help in the form of rehab. He’s now 105 days sober and getting stronger each day thanks to AA and others he has met along the way.
Be like Johnny, ask for assistance and start your own journey towards successful recovery.
Putting things down so you can pick things up
Huge appreciation to British Recycled Plastic for these stunning wheelchair accessible benches for us all to enjoy at C**t Enterprise. A tip of the cap too to Upcycled Ade for his splendid efforts recently in creating seating masterpieces fro our barrels. 2 splendid ways of repurposing because at Project C**t Recovery everything and everyone deserves a second chance. Hats of to Gaz of Bombini Tribe Apparel for modelling our new benches. Accessible Calderdale hope to see you come and give us a whirl soon. #ChangingLivesForGood#reusenetwork#accessible#justsplendid
Open night to watch volunteer driver Allan trying the local music scene.
After Alan’s splendid performance we listened to Johnny Stott
Johnny is on a recovery journey and this song is about addiction. Written last week, this was his first live performance.
Raw unedited talent from a great guy, putting things down so he can pick things up!
Choices!

Many thanks to Alex for this fantastic decoration to our mill frontage at C**t Enterprise . We are super pleased with your work and I hope that this allows more people to understand the fantastic things happen within. You may note that we are now advertising our new role as the new Calderdale hub for Zarach. Many thanks to our existing team of staff, our volunteers and our collaborators for embracing this along with the other changes of recent.
Over the last few months I have taken a few pics that I’d like to share along with a little information about what’s happening at project c**t.
Our valued staff, volunteers and new partners have worked tirelessly to open our doors a little differently
We have a new accessible access that leads us to the middle floor now that we have acquired the use of both our mills.
Our aim is to support our existing addiction recovery service and develop the space that we now have into a community hub and deliver our mission of changing lives for good.
C**T stands for change of lifestyle training and working with our clients and volunteers we have now a team of partners that can deliver programmes designed around this.
Within the run up to our jubilee celebrations we have ran horticulture well-being workshops @serenitywellbeinggardens, barista training workshops @rustyscoffeeclub, art competitions @kissy_colour, Calm Art, Juicy Watercolours, @pamala Lee art, and furniture upscaling workshops @Lee Augustine along side our everyday services of addiction recovery, home packs for our friends that need a little help and of course the sale of our communities generous donations which provide our core income stream.
Our aim now is to work with our selected partners to be creative in how we display our valued goods and have a hub in which we can invite our community to come and enjoy, perhaps have a coffee and a bite to eat, maybe a haircut and then share our story, indulge with what’s available and help us to continue delivering our mission Project C**t Recovery with the assistance of Futurekraft
Our barber House Of Handsome Barbers Ellandis now fully operational and we hope to have freshly ground barista coffee available as early as next week.
We are also soon to be the Calderdale hub for @zarachleeds and we may be working with the princes trust very shortly and we are soon to acquire a phone box!!!
All other services are as normal yet I am pleased to announce that our shop is now op
