Huntingdonshire Speakers Club helps members to improve communication and leadership skills by within a supportive environment.

We are a supportive, friendly Toastmasters club based in Huntingdonshire, United Kingdom. We are currently meeting virtually over Zoom on 2 evenings every month. Our club membership includes a broad range of people, professions and experience levels who share a common interest in;
1. Develop great personal and business communications skills.
2. Learn & practice Leadership skills that can help us in our daily lives.
3. Being around other people who have a similar interest in personal development. Our aim is to support each other in progressing towards our public speaking and leadership goals, and to have fun along the way.

Wonderful special meeting yesterday in celebration of Peter Milbank's 80 years on Earth. The Octogenarian Octpous gave us the weirdest word of the day. Lauren Watson Fraser was a wonderful host and Adrian Podmore and Renate Zeigermann gave wonderful heartfelt speeches. Well done to Darren Walton for his winning table topics impersonation of Peter parachuting.

Thank you to the six guests who came to our open night. The workshop ran well and seemed to fit into our regular schedule nicely. Perhaps we’ll do some more of these 🙂
