We’re delighted to share that this year’s edition of our annual INSPIRE magazine is now in the post and should be arriving with you soon.

This year’s edition celebrates a remarkable year for Caring Matters Now; one of growth, connection and impact. Together, our global membership has grown to more than 900 families and individuals, and we’ve continued to expand the support, resources and events available to our community.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to DL Accounts, one of our valued corporate partners, whose generous sponsorship has helped make this year’s INSPIRE magazine possible.

If you have not opted in to receive postal communications from us, or if you are keen to read it straight away, a digital PDF version is also available to view on our website here:

This Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating the incredible people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support our charity at every level 💙

From our Peer Support Contacts to our Key Volunteers, their impact reaches across everything we do; supporting members, planning events, creating resources, managing social media, analysing data, editing personal stories, coordinating mail-outs, handling merchandise, graphic design, medical advocacy, leading our young ambassador programme, attending conferences, and championing family engagement. (To name just a few!)

This year, we’re proud to have grown our volunteer team to 48 amazing roles 🙌
Every single contribution makes a real difference.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for your passion, dedication, and commitment. We couldn’t do it without you 💙

Could you be part of something life-changing? 💙
By becoming a monthly donor for Caring Matters Now, you can help us continue to make a real difference for those affected by CMN, every single month.

Your support helps us achieve our three core aims:

✨ SUPPORT
£10 a month could help us be there for families from the very moment of diagnosis, because no family should face CMN alone.

📢 AWARENESS
£20 a month helps us continue educating medical professionals, because understanding truly changes lives.

🔬 RESEARCH
£40 a month can fund a full genetic investigation for a patient with melanoma, because every breakthrough has to start somewhere.

No matter the amount, your regular gift creates lasting impact and hope for the future 💙

May is Birthmark Awareness Month 💜
“By raising visibility, we raise understanding. By raising understanding, we raise support. By raising support, we create a brighter future.”

At our core, this is what we stand for every single day of the year. Raising awareness and championing those with birthmarks isn’t something we do just for a month, it’s who we are.

But May gives all of us a moment to amplify that message even louder, to shine an extra light on the importance of visibility, understanding, and support.

Every mark is part of someone’s story and everyone deserves to be celebrated. Together, we can continue to build a world where differences are embraced, not hidden.

Share your own story, and let’s keep encouraging each other to love the skin we’re in, this month and always.

Love, Jodi (Founder and CEO) x
