We are delighted 🤩 to be working on an intergenerational community garden project as part of the Wales in Bloom competition 💐.

On 22nd of June pupils from Ysgol Treffynnon will be joining us to paint the Planter’s in Tower Gardens. Then on the 24th, the pupils will be joining us to attend to our eco-garden by planting flowers and plants that will attract bee’s, butterflies 🦋 and other important pollinators.

In the meantime everyone involved has been working extremely hard to prepare for this project and we are incredibly pleased with how everything is coming together. This has only been possible through the dedicated, enthusiastic and sheer hard work of all those involved.
Once the project is completed with the pupils, we will be able to walk along the High Street with pride knowing we have created something special for the whole community to enjoy 💞

🎉 WHAT AN AMAZING DAY 🎉

Wow what a fantastic day we had raising money for Margaret Evans Charity for the Breast Cancer Unit Wrexham Maelor Hospital .

Thank you to Mayor Councillor Elaine Jones and Mayoress Councillor Val Nevitt Flint Town Council for coming along to make Margaret’s fundraising day so special, your support meant so much 💞

A massive thank you also goes to Ffion Davies and dad Malcom Owen for the delicious 🤤 food and cakes that everyone throughly enjoyed 💖

Special thanks to Christina for providing the beautiful decorations and Margaret’s birthday cake 🎂 which added an extra touch of celebration to the day 💕

It was also lovely to welcome Rachael from Estuary Gardens Care Home who popped in to see what we are all about.
We are delighted to have been invited to join the residents for lunch and spend an afternoon with them in the future, we are looking forward to it 😊

Margaret would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event, including the Mayor and Mayoress, Gem Johnson for the entertainment, Morrisons and all the generous people who kindly donated raffle prizes 💖
