Just a little of what we’ve been up to this week… Our CEO Hannah spent a day at HILS (Hertfordshire Independent Living Service), seeing - first hand - the real impact of their work.

HILS help people remain healthy, independent and connected to their communities; through nutritional advice and support, to physical activity programs, community hubs and emergency food provisions.

Our Events Manager, Micheal out and about in Baldock to raise awareness of and drive footfall to Saturday morning’s volunteer fair, taking place in the Community Hub (previously called the Community Centre).

GoVolHerts merch, prepped and ready to inspire the people of Baldock to find their volunteering match this weekend.

Michelle, our Marketing and Comms Lead with a few members of our Charity Comms network at this month’s get-together.

Steve’s story, and experience with North Herts & Stevenage Community Transport Scheme, reminds us all of the true impact voluntary led services, such as Community Transport, have on individuals.

The services we run as a sector is one thing. It’s the way we lift, support and show up for those in need that really makes the difference 💙
