📣 An exciting opportunity has opened up to join the Age Friendly: Live Better Hertfordshire team as our new Programme & Partnerships Officer, covering Watford, Three Rivers and Hertsmere. 💚

This is a brilliant opportunity to work directly with communities and partners to help make local places better to grow older.

From leading walking audits and supporting local campaigns to working with residents, organisations and stakeholders, you’ll help turn what local people tell us into meaningful action.

📍 Watford, Three Rivers & Hertsmere
💷 £30,000 per annum
⏰ Full time
🏡 Hybrid working, with extensive travel across Hertfordshire
🤝 Hosted by Age UK Hertfordshire

We’re looking for someone with excellent project management skills who understands the needs and concerns of older people, including those living with long-term conditions or disabilities and people whose voices may be underserved.

Going for a short walk, can really change someone day. Building back confidence is never easy, but chatting, laughing while walking is a great way to do this. We love that we can help people get back out in the fresh air!

Welcome Jodie 👋🏻
Jodie is our new coordinator for Central-covering St Albans, Hertsmere, Welwyn and Hatfield.

Jodie has previously worked as a care coordinator before taking some time off travelling to see Asia. On her return she worked in a school before coming to join our team this week.

She has really hit the ground running this week and she is really looking forward to getting out and visiting clients and meeting her volunteers.

We are thrilled to have you as part of our team 💙
