⭐️Volunteers Week⭐️

Meet our wonderful volunteer Callum! Callum has been with Reach Out since February. He is currently seeing Norman for a good old natter. Callum has also helped Norman gain some confidence to go out and as you can see even have a yummy lunch.

Callum said “it’s wonderful to see the positive difference a friendly face and listening ear can make to someone’s wellbeing” 💙

Michelle has been with us for a couple of years and has been an amazing volunteer.
Marjorie said “ we have a good old giggle and laugh, she is a wonderful lady. You couldn’t of matched me up with anyone better”

⭐️Volunteers Week ⭐️
This week is a special week as it’s Volunteers Week, a week to celebrate all volunteers not just at Reach Out but everybody that gives up their free time to help others. We will be celebrating this week with some lovely stories, quotes and we will be at volunteer fairs too.

Do you have experience working or volunteering in Health and Social Care?
Are you interested in working in the charity sector?

Reach Out supports older people who are medically vulnerable, living with frailty, and have recently been discharged from hospital. We reduce loneliness by linking clients with trained local volunteers who provide companionship and practical support, helping them feel less isolated in their own homes.

Working pattern:
• Remote working
• Home visits across Central Herts ( Hatfield, Welwyn, Hertsmere and St Albans)
• Visits to our Hitchin head office
