🌟 Our Community, Our Future – Pride in Place Rowner 🌟

Pride in Place is all about bringing people together to celebrate Rowner, support local families, and create positive opportunities for the future of our community. Backed by the UK Government, the project focuses on listening to the needs of the community, improving community spaces, supporting wellbeing, and making Rowner a place where everyone feels proud to live, work, and grow. 💚

Join us for a fantastic family fun day alongside the Best Start Family Hub and Hampshire County Council teams! There’ll be something for everyone, including a mobile farm 🐑, magician 🎩, balloon modelling 🎈, and a FREE ice cream or ice lolly for every child 🍦

This is also a chance to have your say, meet co-chairs and members of the Neighbourhood Board, local organisations, share your ideas, and help shape exciting new initiatives for the area including Pride in Place and the Best Start Family Hub. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected future for Rowner.

🎟️ A Huge Thank You to Rising Sun Fareham & Gosport Martial Arts! 🥋☀️

The Rowner Carnival team would like to extend a massive thank you to Rising Sun Fareham & Gosport Martial Arts for their incredibly generous donation to our Rowner Carnival Raffle 2026.

They have kindly donated TWO vouchers for one month’s FREE martial arts lessons, available for either a child or an adult! What a fantastic prize and a wonderful opportunity for someone to try something new, build confidence, improve fitness and learn valuable skills.

The Rowner Carnival is back, and we are working incredibly hard to bring this historic community event back to life for the people of Rowner and the wider Gosport community.

As a volunteer-led organisation, we rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of local businesses to help us raise funds that allow us to continue delivering FREE and inclusive community events throughout the year.

We are currently looking for raffle prize donations for our Rowner Carnival Grand Raffle, which will take place during the carnival on Saturday 26th July 2026.
