Thank you to Alan and Lawrence at 3rd Gosport for taking time out of their Friday evening to take our Explorers out on the water with the stand-up paddles boards.

There were some successes with being able to stand-up and of course the inevitable splashes, but I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

This week the Explorers attempted to fly the kites that they built themselves last week.

We were lucky that the wind was on our side tonight, but there were varying degrees of success, but luckily we had some back up kites to fly as well.

Some food fun this evening, making ice cream in a bag and armpit fudge, and finishing up with a bit of team building.

This weekend 13 Gosport Explorers took on London Monopoly Run

All enjoyed themselves and out of 251 independent Explorer teams, Baby Sharks came in at 186 and The Red Hot Chilli Steppers 236

Well done to all of the Explorers, from the Air, Land and Sea Units who have spent countless evenings and weekends rehearsing for Gosport Gangshow this week.

Also a super well done to 2 of them, Charley and James who got awarded their Explorer Belt that they completed summer last year!

The hut smelled full of baked goods this evening as the Explorers did blind baking.

They had 10mins to look up a recipe and memorise it, before heading to the table of unlabelled ingredients. Some rather mixed results of slightly breads cookies, chocolate chip
cookies and Welsh cakes.

Have a good half term, and break a leg to our Explorers that are taking part in gosportscoutgangshow next week!

This evening closed out with a 3-course meal cooked and served by the leaders, our own little way of appreciating that they choose to spend their Friday nights with us.

Nearing the end of term. So some Christmas crafts were in order this evening.

The attention to detail and concentration on some the Explorers faces whilst decorating their Yule logs was a cause for some giggles.
