❤️FREE SPACE FOR YOUR COMMUNITY GROUP, CHARITY

Times are hard for us all at the moment, so here at FACT we want to help if we can…..

We have some limited space available at FACT in Wrekenton around our timetable and would like to offer it out, free of charge, to any other local charities, community groups etc.

We have rooms to accommodate 2 - 100 people.

It would mainly be one-off availability, but we might be able to help with a regular slot or two as well depending on the space and facilities needed. We love our FACT ‘home’ and the facilities it provides, and if we can help other local groups we’re happy to do so!

We are a busy centre, so use of the building, kitchen etc would not be exclusive, but meeting/activity rooms if booked would be.

Why not host a Great North Cancer Coffee Morning at your home, workplace, school or community venue. It can be a coffee morning or add a twist…. A BBQ, dinner party, curry night – you decide.
Keep it simple or maybe add a competition, bingo, a quiz, raffle or tombola to boost your fundraising. The choice is yours!

❌‼️ FACT is really bad at this!
Please let lots of people know 😳

As an 18 year old small local charity, one thing we have struggled with is establishing good regular giving donations.

Why?

❌ We don’t use 3rd party fundraisers
❌ We don’t cold call/knock on doors
❌ People assume their donation to larger charities is filtered down to us
❌ People assume we are funded by government, local authority, NHS etc

😓 In tough economic and uncertain times people and organisations watch their pennies- rightly so! It’s all about surviving.

💔In tough economic and uncertain times demand for FACT’s services goes up

😱In tough economic and uncertain times our donations go down

💰 So we’re not asking for grand financial gestures (although we will gladly accept them!!!)

🙏 We’re asking for £2 a month (or more if you choose) Less than your takeaway cuppa!
