💙 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 💙

Our Family Fun Day for Jude is taking place on Saturday 19th September at Grindon Young People’s Centre, and we want to make it a brilliant day while raising as much money as possible towards Jude’s treatment.

We’re reaching out to our amazing local community, businesses and organisations to see if anyone would be willing to donate their time, equipment or services completely free of charge for the day.

We’d especially love to hear from anyone who could help with:

🏰 Bouncy castles & inflatables
🎯 Games, activities or entertainment
🎪 Stalls or family activities
🎨 Face painting, characters, performers or anything else that could make the day special!

🎁We also need donations for our Raffle too!

Every penny we can avoid spending on the event is another penny that can go directly towards Jude’s treatment. 💙

If you’re a local business or individual who could help — or you know someone who might — please tag them below, share this post, or send us a message.

Even if you can’t provide a service, simply sharing this post could help us reach someone who can.

😀What a great day at the Unity in the Community celebration event on Saturday! Loads of stalls, great entertainment, fabulous food and activities for all in the wonderful Sunderland Minster

As usual, we had loads of fun setting up...(very lucky to be placed beside the Sunderland Sikh Association - thank you for the extremely tasty samosas and homemade chutney!!!) and chatting to lots of people who were all keen to sign up as mentors for our young people at Academy 360 ! We even had some interest for our schools in Newcastle📣

A big shout out to the organisers and all the fabulous volunteers, who once again made this such a wonderful event for people to enjoy, and it was all free! Well done all!

We're turning the Centre into a wellbeing space for the morning with HOPS and The Little Company of Calm🧘☁️🫧

Book yourself a free therapy session with HOPS - Healing Opportunities Wellbeing Service, then spend the rest of the morning slowing down with mindful crafts, refreshments, and a relaxing mindfulness session with The Little Company of Calm. No rushing in and out, we're encouraging carers to come along for the whole session and take some well-deserved time out from their caring role.

Morning everyone! Hope you are all doing well on this lovely Tuesday morning! 😎

📣Just thought I'd spread the word about the Unity in the Community event...happening on the 15th of August at the Minster Gardens in Sunderland. It's on from 11-2 and is free to attend!

It was brilliant last year, with free food, music...activities and also lots of local organisations will be there too! 🎉

I'll be there sporting my bright orange t-shirt and enormous banner :) hoping to recruit more mentors for young people at Academy 360, so if you do come along, drop by my stall for a chat! I might even have some sweeties to share...

Happy Monday everyone! The sun is still shining and our North East team has been down to Stevenage to visit our southern colleagues today ! A good day to connect and share experiences - with our counterparts in Surrey, Hertfordshire and London!
