Last year our Recipe Bags were really popular, and we’re planning to bring them back in the next few months as an updated service. We’re combining our previous Staple Bag and Recipe Bag into one, all-in-one, option to help keep costs down, reach more people, and make the service more affordable....

There wouldn’t be a Pickle Palace if it weren’t for our team of volunteers. And, oh my days, what larks are had as we rescue food and feed people. They prove that the best way to happiness is through volunteering.

Yet another reason we love our volunteers!!! Our own little Ribena Berry, Clare Bear, made a mince and onion pie, and a corned beef pie for the Thursday market volunteers to enjoy once we’d packed up today. Mmmmmmtastytastic 😋😋😋😋

Here’s a pizza I made with Pickle Palace produce:
A Jus Rol pizza dough base +
Homemade pizza sauce using cherry tomatoes +
Homemade mozarella using high protein milk.

We will be at Greenside Social club 10.30-11.30 tomorrow (Thursday).
Eeeeeeeevvveeeeeeyyyybody welcome. For ONLY £5 fill a bag for life with fruit, veg, chilled/frozen items, ambient products, bread and cakes. All sorted and arranged by our awesome volunteers.

We hope you had a Pickletastic bank holiday. Our Thursday market is on as usual this week, at Greenside Social Club. Doors open at 10am for a cuppa and a butty, the market is 10.30-11.30. Everyone is welcome.
