Following 's official statement, we wanted to make it clear that we stand with them after the recent decision by the Cabinet Office to exclude the xCS Network from participating in the event's march this year. 💓

Our full statement:
"Exeter Pride stands in solidarity with Bristol Pride and strongly condemns the Cabinet Office’s decision to withdraw its permission for the xCS Network to participate in Pride.

Pride’s exist to create safe, visible and supportive spaces for all in the LGBTQ+ community to come together.

It is right that LGBTQ+ people and groups have places and spaces to discuss and debate issues that affect their lives and this should not impact any LGBTQ+ staff networks from taking part in Pride. Staff in the Civil Service deserve to be seen and visible in their community.

We call on the Cabinet Office to urgently reconsider their position and guidance. We will continue to advocate for Trans and Non Binary Rights and will support other Pride’s in seeking to do so."

We had a wonderful time at the opening night of Exeter Little Theatre Company’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!!

Our fabulous chair, Russell exclaimed “I’m always blown away by the productions that ELTC put on, they go bigger every year and we love seeing all their hard work come together into what is always an incredible show. This year was next level with a flying car and even a four legged star too!”.

🎨 Content Designers: Love Canva? Create gorgeous digital and print assets (like our annual programmes, maps, and social assets) to keep our brand fresh, accessible, and fun!
🌐 Website Lead: Keep our digital home looking beautiful and up to date. A low-hour, high-impact role perfect for anyone with great IT skills and a creative eye!

We are taking over the streets of Exeter once again to flood the city with love, protest, glitter, and pure, unfiltered q***r joy. Whether you’ve been marching with us for the last 18 years or 2027 will be your very first march, you belong here!

Over the next few months, you'll see us sharing all the juicy details about how you can get involved, whether that's setting up a stall in the Gardens, performing on stage, or being part of our vital and fabulous crew of volunteers! 🙋

📣 Important News Incoming! 🏳️‍⚧️

We welcome Steve Race’s recent signing of the Early Day Motion 240 relating to the draft code of practice after the EHRC guidance.

We’re pleased that the engagement from Exeter Pride Members and our siblings at Trans Pride Exeter has been listened to.

There is, of course, further to go in ensuring that we protect and defend the rights of our Trans and Non-Binary siblings and we look forward to continuing to work with Steve on this in the coming weeks and months.

We’ll continue to ensure that our voices are heard and we hold our Government to account. 💪
