🎤🕺 Performers and entertainers, start applying for Exeter Pride 2027 now!!

Next year features two performance spaces and a new, welcoming Family Stage. So we’re inviting drag performers, singers, comedians, circus artists, dancers, choirs, bands and all community talent to apply and spread their light at Pride 2027!

Be part of the celebration...submit your application before 1st December 2026.

🏳️‍⚧️ It's almost Trans Pride Exeter!

On 3rd October, we're gathering at 11.30am at Dix’s field to march to Bedford Square. We’ll pause here for speeches and performances, then head to Exeter Community Centre on St David’s Hill for stalls, workshops and more music!

The march ends at Exeter Community Centre, where we hold our community day; Enjoy an art market featuring talented trans, non-binary, and intersex artists and crafters, along with a café, workshops, community stalls and live music! 🎨

Following 's official statement, we wanted to make it clear that we stand with them after the recent decision by the Cabinet Office to exclude the xCS Network from participating in the event's march this year. 💓

Our full statement:
"Exeter Pride stands in solidarity with Bristol Pride and strongly condemns the Cabinet Office’s decision to withdraw its permission for the xCS Network to participate in Pride.

Pride’s exist to create safe, visible and supportive spaces for all in the LGBTQ+ community to come together.

It is right that LGBTQ+ people and groups have places and spaces to discuss and debate issues that affect their lives and this should not impact any LGBTQ+ staff networks from taking part in Pride. Staff in the Civil Service deserve to be seen and visible in their community.

We call on the Cabinet Office to urgently reconsider their position and guidance. We will continue to advocate for Trans and Non Binary Rights and will support other Pride’s in seeking to do so."

We had a wonderful time at the opening night of Exeter Little Theatre Company’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!!

Our fabulous chair, Russell exclaimed “I’m always blown away by the productions that ELTC put on, they go bigger every year and we love seeing all their hard work come together into what is always an incredible show. This year was next level with a flying car and even a four legged star too!”.

💰 Assistant Treasurer: Help manage our merchandise, collections, and cash flow.
🎉 Fundraising Lead: Plan and coordinate our fun, year-round fundraising events.

Don’t forget applications are OPEN for our new volunteer roles supporting the core committee, including some incredible opportunities within our Communications Team:

🎨 Content Designers: Love Canva? Create gorgeous digital and print assets (like our annual programmes, maps, and social assets) to keep our brand fresh, accessible, and fun!
🌐 Website Lead: Keep our digital home looking beautiful and up to date. A low-hour, high-impact role perfect for anyone with great IT skills and a creative eye!
📲 Social Media Lead: Be the voice of Exeter Pride! Manage our growing pages on Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky, post updates, and connect with awesome partner groups.
✍️ Newsletter Writers: Help us launch our brand-new quarterly newsletter! If you can write concisely and engagingly, we need you to share local LGBTQ+ news across Exeter.
