Strengthening European Handball Relationships in Cologne
Brian Bartlett, Scottish Handball Head of Refereeing and Board member, attended the EHF Champions League Final4 in Cologne last weekend alongside participating in the European Handball League Board Summit. The event brought together league leaders and stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the future development of the sport, share best practice, and strengthen collaboration between national leagues and governing bodies.
The weekend provided an excellent opportunity to further develop valued relationships across the European handball community, reinforcing existing partnerships and establishing new connections that will support future cooperation and growth within the sport. The summit’s theme, “Let’s work together”, reflected the collaborative spirit that was evident throughout the event.
During the same weekend, the European Handball Federation also signed new Memoranda of Understanding with key stakeholder groups, providing a strong long-term framework for the continued development of European handball through to 2036.
