Sometimes it's the quiet moments that matter most. π₯
Gondolas. Horse riding. Big adventures. Yes, we do all of that - and our young people love every second.
But some of our favourite HopScotch moments? They look exactly like this.
A fire. Some marshmallows. A group of kids just⦠being kids.
No pressure. No distractions. Just warmth, laughter, and the kind of conversation that only happens when you slow down and create the space for it.
For many of the children we support, a safe space to simply exist - to talk, to listen, to feel heard - is more powerful than any activity we could plan. These are the moments where trust is built, where walls come down, and where young people start to believe that they matter.
That's what HopScotch is really about. Not just the big ticket experiences (though we'll never say no to those π΄), but the in-between moments. The ones that stay with a child long after the weekend is over.
