We had a brilliant time at the Midlothian Employability Fayre! 🎉

The turnout was fantastic, with lots of local people out exploring their next career move. Our team had the chance to chat with so many attendees about what a career in care with Care Support Scotland could look like, from those considering a career change to people just starting out.

A huge thank you to Ben and Kasia, who represented CSS on the day and did an amazing job speaking with everyone who stopped by our stand. Their enthusiasm really shone through!

Events like this are such a great way to connect with our local community and share what makes a career in care so rewarding. Thank you to everyone who came along and said hello, we loved meeting you all.

What a summer it's been at Polton! 🌞

Residents and staff have enjoyed movie nights, cooking by the fire pit, flower pounding, and plenty of good chats in the lounge together.

Huge congratulations to Jade from Care Support Scotland, who took on the Zipslide Challenge at Strathclyde Country Park on Sunday, soaring across 1,000ft of the loch to raise £370 for the MS Society.

Multiple Sclerosis affects an estimated 150,000 people in the UK. The MS Society funds research, support networks and campaigning for better treatment and care, and we're proud to see our team getting involved.

Role Spotlight: Support Worker - Supported Living

We are looking for a fun, energetic and enthusiastic person to support a young man with autism and a learning disability who enjoys an active lifestyle and receives 24/7 support. He loves getting out and about, taking part in activities, and going on long walks, so we are looking for someone who is positive, engaging and enjoys being active.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about social care and wants to gain valuable hands-on experience while making a real difference to someone’s daily life. We are looking for someone who shares CSS values of respect, compassion and to thrive whilst delivering person-centred support.

• A clean UK driving licence is required in order to take our client to and from activities.
