More than 3,000 pieces of specialist paediatric surgical equipment - that started at our Operations HQ in Dundee - now in place in Hebron, Palestine, and making safe, surgical care possible for kids who urgently need it.

Before - the surgical team did not have the equipment, space or resources needed to provide safe, timely care consistently. Now - they do. ๐Ÿ’›

Kids Operating Room is beyond proud to announce the official opening of our first ever operating room in the West Bank, Palestine.

At Al Ahli Hospital in Hebron, a new dedicated paediatric operating room is now ready. It will support local surgical teams caring for children living through one of the most complex and urgent humanitarian crises in the world.

After months of planning, and the delivery of more than 3,000 pieces of specialist equipment, the talented local surgical team now has a dedicated operating room for children.

Delivering a facility of this standard in the West Bank has been one of the most challenging projects Kids Operating Room has ever undertaken. Its successful delivery marks one of our proudest moments. ๐Ÿ’›

From the equipment to the layout, every part of the space has a purpose โ€“ creating a safer, more appropriate environment for children undergoing surgery. ๐Ÿฅ

After months of work, itโ€™s finally ready for what matters most: the children who will be treated here. Thank you to the county government and the hospital staff for helping us make safe surgery possible for the children in and around Mombasa. ๐Ÿ’›

What started as an empty space is now a fully equipped paediatric operating theatre designed to help provide safer surgical care for children across the region. ๐Ÿฅโœจ
