👠 Ladies’ Pop-up Shop & Fun Fashion Show!

We’re delighted to share this fantastic event in Glenrothes, organised by Dawn and Lesley in support of Blood Cancer UK ❤️

Join them on Saturday 24 October for an afternoon of fashion, shopping and fabulous bargains, with high street brands at up to 70% off! There will also be a raffle with some fantastic prizes to be won.

Looking for a little festive fun? The Glasgow Branch of Blood Cancer UK would love to welcome you to their Christmas Fayre this November!

📍 Giffnock United Reformed Church, Fenwick Road, Giffnock, G46 6JB (opposite Morrisons)

There’s something for everyone to enjoy, including:

🎁 Craft, baking and book stalls
🎨 Christmas games and crafts for children (and grown-ups too!)
🍰 Delicious home baking and homemade soup in the pop-up café
🎟️ Raffles and a tombola, where every go wins a prize!

Bring the children, grandchildren, friends or neighbours, or simply pop along yourself. You’ll find a warm welcome, friendly faces and plenty of festive cheer.

A huge thank you to the Ladies Section at Erskine Golf Club for their fantastic support of Blood Cancer UK.

The ladies have been fundraising for us throughout the year through a variety of activities, including a Beetle Drive, raffle and Open Day, raising an incredible £1,033.70.

This follows their fundraising of £777 last year, bringing their total raised for Blood Cancer UK to an amazing £1,810.70.

With members of the club having been closely affected by blood cancer, this is a cause that means a great deal to them. Their fundraising will help us fund vital research, provide trusted information and support services for people living with blood cancer, and work towards a future where everyone can survive and live well after a blood cancer diagnosis.

Thank you to everyone involved in the fundraising, and to all the members who helped make this fantastic total possible. ❤️

⛰️❤️ What an amazing achievement!

In memory of his beloved Uncle Derek, known as “Dodo” to his family, five-year-old Zach took on the incredible challenge of climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for Blood Cancer UK.

Derek was diagnosed with leukaemia in February 2026. Throughout his illness and treatment, he took everything in his stride and remained positive, strong and determined. Sadly, he died in June 2026.

Zach’s climb is not only a huge personal achievement, but a very special tribute to Dodo. He understands how important it is to raise vital funds and awareness for people affected by blood cancer, and he should be incredibly proud of what he’s achieved.

So far, an amazing £1,140 has been raised in his memory. Because of Zach, his family and everyone supporting them, more can be done for people affected by blood cancer. ❤️

An update on the Glasgow Walk to Beat Blood Cancer ❤️

We’re delighted to share that the final fundraising total is now in, with an amazing £7,626.37 raised for Blood Cancer UK!

It’s such a fantastic amount raised and a brilliant reflection of the support behind this year’s walk. From taking part and fundraising to donating and spreading the word, every bit of support has helped make this possible.

We’re so grateful to the Glasgow & District Branch for organising the walk each year, bringing the Blood Cancer UK community together and making the event such a special part of the fundraising calendar.

What a brilliant day at the Glasgow Walk to Beat Blood Cancer!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the walk at Pollok Country Park, and to the Glasgow & District Branch for organising such a fantastic event.

The sun was shining, and it was wonderful to see so many people coming together to support Blood Cancer UK. Together, you’ve raised over £5,000! 🎉

Every pound raised will help support people affected by blood cancer and fund vital research.

A huge thank you to Ross, who took on an incredible 70km endurance run from Uddingston to the Police Treatment Centres in Auchterarder, raising an amazing £3,325 for Blood Cancer UK and the Police Treatment Centres.

The challenge was created to mark what would have been his dad’s 70th birthday. His dad served nearly 30 years as a Police Constable and was also affected by blood cancer, receiving support from the Police Treatment Centres during his first diagnosis.

Supporting Blood Cancer UK is deeply personal to Ross. Watching his dad’s journey gave him a much deeper understanding of the impact blood cancer can have on an individual and their whole family, and showed him the importance of research, support services and awareness.

Ross said: “Every kilometre of this 70km run is driven by the desire to honour my dad and help others affected by blood cancer.”

We’re so grateful to Ross for taking on such a personal challenge, honouring his dad’s life and service, and helping to raise vital funds and awareness for two charities that mean so much to him and his family. Thank you, Ross! ❤️

What a brilliant day at Tour De 4! 🚴‍♀️

A huge thank you to the 24 incredible cyclists who took on this challenge for Blood Cancer UK. From sunshine to rain (and pretty much everything in between!), you kept going. Together, you’ve raised an amazing £22,173 so far to help us beat blood cancer. ❤️

It was brilliant to spend the day cheering you on, catching up with familiar faces and seeing such a great community spirit behind every mile.

Tour de 4 was founded by Sir Chris Hoy to shine a spotlight on stage 4 cancer and show that people can live well alongside a devastating diagnosis. It was so special to see so many people come together to support that message, and take on such a huge challenge.
