Showcase is a registered Scottish Charity, with one aim:

To raise funds for charity by profitably staging an annual show offering the highest standard of entertainment and professionalism, comprising a wide variety of musical styles and sources, drawing on the rich vein of amateur musical talent in the Edinburgh area. Since our inception in 1991, our chosen charity has been, and remains, Macmillan Cancer Support. To date we have raised over £200,000 for this extremely worthwhile cause.

⛳ 270 HOLES. ONE DAY. THREE ABSOLUTE HEROES! 💪🏌️‍♂️

A HUGE congratulations to our three heroes — Callum, Gregg and Robin — who yesterday took on the Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Day Golf Challenge and somehow managed to complete an incredible 270 holes of golf in a single day! 🤯👏

That’s a seriously long day on the course, with plenty of swings, steps, sore legs and, we imagine, more than a few questionable shots along the way! 😂

We’re incredibly proud of the three of them for taking on such a ridiculous challenge and pushing themselves to the limit, all in aid of an amazing cause. ❤️

A massive thank you to Kings Acre Golf Course for hosting us throughout the day and helping make the challenge possible. ⛳️

⛳️ We’re taking on an even bigger challenge this year!

The Showcase team is once again taking part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support—but this time we’re going even further by taking on 100 holes of golf in a single day!

Every swing, every step and every hole is to help raise vital funds so Macmillan can continue supporting people living with cancer and their families.

The King’s is back! 🎭

11 years ago this week we filled the stage for our 25th Anniversary, and now we’re delighted to be asked back joining our friends Edinburgh Gang Show, The Bohemians Lyric Opera Company, Allegro, Southern Light - Edinburgh, Edinburgh Music Theatre and Edinburgh Gilbert and Sullivan Society for ‘A Great Night Out!’ 🎭 💚

Three cheers for these incredible people who took on the Edinburgh Marathon Festival Half Marathon today! 👏👏👏

With the sun beating down - Emily, Mark and Jacqui crossed the finish line. We are so proud! 🏃‍♂️🏃

And with that our Marathon weekend draws to a close. Collectively our Showcase volunteers covered nearly 75km all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support💚💚
