Workplace Violence/Important information
UNISON Dumfries and Galloway are launching a campaign on Workplace Violence and all members who are employed by Dumfries and Galloway Council will receive an email in the coming week with details about the campaign.
UNISON Dumfries & Galloway Branch are seeking a commitment from Dumfries & Galloway Council to sign up to the UNISON Workplace Violence Charter to prevent and respond to workplace violence, ensuring staff safety, support, and training.
A series of in-person and online drop-in sessions will be held for UNISON D&G members across all Directorates between June – Oct 2026 regarding the Workplace Violence campaign, and how you can become more involved in the Branch.
The first UNISON Drop-In session will take place on Tuesday 23rd June from 6pm - 7:30pm at The Bridge, Glasgow Road, Dumfries DG2 9AW – come along and find out more, doors open 5.30pm for 6pm start.
