Wow, I can’t believe it’s the last week of August already.
We visited Briery Park in Thornhill, which was tinged with sadness because one of our faithful residents who was usually there at every visit had passed away during the week. So we sang Amazing Grace especially for Angela just to remember her. I truly believe she is with Jesus now so it’s not goodbye, but see you later 🙏🏼
We have also had our visits to Notwen House Kirkpatrick Fleming and Dryfemount in Lockerbie.
Sadly our visits to Charnwood’s have been cancelled due to them having other commitments, but we could possibly be going in to visit one to one, so all is not lost. 🙏🏼
All our visits are special in different ways because the residents and staff are all unique and it is such a blessing to be able to go into the care homes and visit these precious people. 🤩
Our last two visits for this week are at Goldielea tomorrow afternoon and then at Allanbank on Sunday afternoon. 🤩
We have a new lady who has joined the team, Angie, all the way from Australia who is here to do Year 3 at Charis Bible College, so we are blessed to have her and all the others who support Forget-Me-Not Ministries by coming along to the visits, prayer and financial support. 🥰
It is all for Father God and Lord Jesus that we do what we do. ✝️🙏🏼
That the residents know they’re not forgotten by God or by the church and that God isn’t forgotten. And to let everyone know how deeply they are ❤️
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
John 3:16-17 NKJV
