Collections DGMA collections details

Warmest greetings everyone,

For members who would like to do what you can for the Ukrainian War Victims.

There are collection points all over the region, more information on the collections points will be shared as soon as we gathered.

Many of our members can not travel far, so DGMA is offering a drop off point in old DEBENHAMS building in the Dumfries High Street. We have allocated a specific area for the appeal.

We are collecting

*Duvets, Pillows, Toiletries, Sanitary items, Blankets only.*

These items will be sent to Poland through the Ukrainian chapels in Lockerbie which will be collected by our volunteers to take to the Locharbriggs Social Club or to the Lockerbie Ukrainian Chapel.

DGMA will be loading all our donated duvets (from the charity shop from last four months) this afternoon and take them to Dino Polish Shop for them to take it to Lockerbie Ukrainian Chapel. Also our volunteer Janet is taking a car load of donations (similar items as above) from our charity shop to Lockerbie Chapel 💒 just now.

Our focus will remain to be helping the new refugee families coming from Ukraine to be reunited with the local families.

We will play our part in humanitarian support in anyway possible.

ADMIN We want to thank you all for you donations. We have been overwhelmed by the response. Due to lack of space, we are having to stop any further collections/ drop offs at this time.
However, we are in desperate need of shelving of any type to create a shop style layout This will help us to sort through donations, and create space for more. Thank you.

- Oakfield Drive - pram, and lots of
household items

Lockerbie - sml fridge, sofa, cupboard, curtains, rug, travel cot, and other items

We will keep this page updated with what needs up lifted, and where from. Please comment on the items you can collect and when. We can then let them know who to expect and when.
