Definitely, maybe…?

💥… Ooooo….💥
Could it be time for a RETURN for the cool cats at CV, their pals at and their funky little magazine PULP! 🏁🍒🎶
Maybe… Definitely maybe ✨☄️💫
We’ve had a break and now we’re missing getting up to the old tricks… However, despite the TON of empty buildings in the town, there is a serious lack of space for rent… 🏪💪🏡
We’re on the lookout for a workshop, studio or maybe a shop (must be dry with no 🍄) in or around 🔥🌵
We’ve come to see that Circle Vintage and Friends could/should definitely 🎶 Live Forever… 🎶🪐🌠
Well…definitely, maybe! 😸💋
Hit us up with any suggestions… and we’re ALWAYS open to wild card options! ♠️🃏♦️

🐄 Opportunity - 'The Right of the Salty Coo' Call-out! 🐄

Ahead of Nithraid, Oceanallover is looking for people to get involved with ‘The Right of the Salty Coo’.

On Saturday the 24th of August Oceanallover and Dumfries Slow Fashion will be taking the Salty Coo for a walk through town and across the river to meet the Nithraid as it arrives at The Green.

There will be four stages on the way where we will celebrate the Salty Coo with music and dance and take photographs for Pulp Magazine.

Oceanallover is looking for people to get involved:
🔸 Making costume for ‘The Rite of the Salty Coo’ working with Alex Rigg from Oceanallover.
Making your own up-cycled clothing with expert help, the wearing it for a Slow Fashion photo-shoot.
🔸 Dressing up in Oceanallover costumes to walk the Salty Coo to the river.
🔸 Come along with us and the Coo just to be there, travelling from Mid-Steeple and over Devorgilla.
🔸 We need a herd of children to come and make wee Coos in the morning of the 24th and then join the drove to the river.

They need:
🔹 4 costume-making trainees aged between 16 and 25
🔹 10 Models/movers to work with Dumfries Slow Fashion and Oceanallover.
🔹 20+ people to look fabulous and have their pictures taken in the street for the October edition of Pulp Magazine.

Our directors need somewhere to live! Can you help? 👇

Unbelievably, after several months and not being especially choosy, we are still looking for a house to rent!
If anyone knows of anything within 20 miles or half an hour of Dumfries, where we both work, please do let us know.
MUST have some outside (grassed) space, even if small, for our dog…
Quite urgent!

Alba gu Bràth
Our pal has released a song for the Scottish national football team at the Euros in Germany this summer.
“Alba gu Bràth” was written and recorded in the University town of St Andrews as Jake Po***ck teamed up with fellow student, and producer Rob Johnstone to construct the song.
“Alba gu Bràth” was recorded using the impressive facilities at the Laidlaw Music Centre. All guitar parts and lead vocals were performed by Jake in the studio. Producer Rob played all the bass parts and sang most of the backing vocals, and the drummer from Rob’s band (Raincheck), Narayan Murti, added a great drum part.
With the assistance from Rob and Narayan, Jake Po***ck’s ‘Alba gu Bràth’ has transformed into the fantastic song that it is today!
You can listen to the song on all platforms now
(Link in our stories), and it is also available here on instagram music - that’s it playing with this post!!!
What a great way to show support for the
Congratulations and well done! 👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
