Last week at Galloway Activity Centre, we had a blast with water safety and inflatable fun! 🏊‍♀️ 🛝

This week, we're diving into interactive learning at the Easterbrook Bistro The Crichton and of course in the workroom too! 🏖️📚

We've had tons of fun while picking up essential facts and skills! 💪✨ Stay safe and educated, everyone! 🥳💦

⚽🏆World Cup -Wellbeing🏆⚽

Keeping with the football theme this week, we’ve been busy building our very own Dream Teams! 🌟

We explored this in a few different ways over the past few days: 🔥 The Mega Dream Team – completely fictional, packed with all the qualities and strengths we'd love on our squad! Tom "The Albatross" Stoltman even features he was brilliant on soccer aid! 💙
Our Real-Life Dream Team – the people already in our lives who support us, encourage us, and are always there when we need them! 🥰

Together, we scored the strengths we have around us and celebrated the amazing people in our corner 🙌💪
It was great fun, sparked lots of laughs, and reminded us that we all have teammates we can turn to for help, advice, guidance, and support when life throws us a challenge ⚽❤️

Because every great team needs great players on and off the pitch! 🌟🏅🙏

🎉 The Dumfries Team are delighted to announce that Debbie has officially been appointed as our Service Lead! 🎉

Debbie is responsible for overseeing the Dumfries service, as well as our outreach service across 12 local schools. Having successfully carried out the role on an interim basis, Debbie is no stranger to the position and has already made a fantastic impact. 🌟

We are excited to continue supporting Debbie as she leads the service forward and to watch it grow and evolve even further. The positive progress seen over the past few months is a testament to her dedication and leadership. 👏😊

We are very lucky to have been granted funding by Dumfries and Galloway Council as part of their one Amazing Summer Programme. We will be hosting two days of fun sessions for neurodivergent young people aged 12-18 at each of our sites in Dumfries and Stranraer in July.
In Dumfries on Mon 6 July and Stranraer on Thursday 16th July we will be delivering supported creative session for all abilities, and on Monday 20th July in Dumfries and Thursday 23rd July in Stranraer, supported games sessions.

🐢 Wowee, how talented is Charlotte! 🤩😍
This is just a wee sketch she started today for our Marine Conservation Society competition, and it literally took her only minutes to sketch and colour! 🎨✨

🚉🚄 DAB Update – Week 1 🚄🚉

JJ has been working incredibly hard on his railway project, carefully hand-drawing all the rail lines! 🗺️✏️ It’s grown so much that we had to use the space in the hall to fit it all in! 😲

It was lovely to hear JJ and Connor chatting together about the different lines they’ve visited and the trains they’ve spotted along the way. 🚂👀 Their enthusiasm and knowledge have been wonderful to see!

We are so impressed with the dedication, hard work, and attention to detail that has gone into this amazing project. 🌟👏
