We are thrilled to announce that Dover’s first ever 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗢𝗡 is next month on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! For all 10-19 year olds, this DIY and imagination-fuelled event has been built from the ground up by the young people we work with - designed by them, for them - and it's FREE. 💚

📍 Riverside Centre Gardens, CT16 1RL & Biggin Hall, CT16 1BD | 10am-4pm 🎉 After Party from 6pm at Biggin Hall

Enter 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 & 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻: Expect themed zones, a handcrafted sweet shop, retro gaming tournaments across 10 consoles, and a Studio Ghibli ASMR chill-out garden & complete with photo booth… 🌿

Travel over 𝖯𝗈𐓣ɣ𝗈 𝖯ɑડડ to the 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 outdoor market: think Pokemon, books, Warhammer + more. Plus a stage, performances, workshops, face painting, food... and some strange surprises. Expect the unexpected. 🎭

This is what happens when young people build the event they actually want to go to. Real creativity, real community, real outdoor spaces - and all the things you love.

Oh, and there are prizes for the best costumes. More on that very soon. 👀

Did you know Guglielmo Marconi - the Nobel Prize-winning pioneer of radio communication - has a connection to Dover? Neither did most of the students at Dover Grammar School for Boys. Until Dover Tales dropped in for one of their enrichment sessions recently...

This year, we've been working with a number of organisations to bring extraordinary local voices into Dover’s schools - from a legal case worker with refugee charity Samphire, to Kent Downs National Landscape: the team working to make the Kent Downs a UNESCO Global Geopark spanning two countries, and climate-focused art organisation , pictured here.

We're in school because we believe young people deserve to learn about their town from the people who know it best. History, environment, lived experience - real Dover, real stories told by the people who are shaping them.

It's our hope that some of the young people hearing these stories for the first time now, will be sharing their own experiences of change-making in Dover in years to come...

Join the MCDC Dance Company and their creative dance sessions which will energise you for the day.

Bounce and groove to music, learn fun social dances in an inclusive, supportive and safe space! No experience needed. All you need is passion for dance and a reusable water bottle!

Recommended age 6 - 99 (younger children are encouraged with an guardian supporting them)

Workshops are open to the public just turn up or watch and get inspired by the local talent and energy! We want to bring kids, their guardians and adults together to have some fun dancing together, get inspired from one another. Michaela Cisarikova will make sure to give variations to different ages and abilities and facilitate how to make it challenging, fun, creative and accessible to you! 🎊

Music on The Curve is organised by Future Foundry and Port of Dover Waterfront. It is a free programme of live music and workshops every weekend (weather dependent) throughout the spring/summer on Marina Curve, Dover.

Calling all growers and ceramicists! 🌿🏺

We’re inviting you to join our 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 & 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 at Dover’s Marina Curve for RHS - Royal Horticultural Society 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, set against a backdrop of live music and entertainment from𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲.

A stall is £15, giving you a prime spot to sell your work and connect with the Dover community. It’s a small investment for a big chance to grow your audience.

We 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 it when dance comes to Biggin Hall!💃🕺 Next month, we can’t wait to welcome Confidance for their powerful Give Me Space 2026 Summer Tour.

This bold performance puts learning disabled voices centre stage, demanding to be heard and inviting audiences to truly understand their experiences via two events:

It starts with a shared love for something you care about. Whether it’s building a ceramic pot, planning a garden, playing football or debating the next big film idea, Future Foundry is where young people come to be themselves.

For nearly 15 years, we’ve watched friendships form over shared projects rather than just shared classrooms. From our free Saturday Art clubs, The Forge, to our town-wide green initiatives, we create spaces where young people lead, create, and find their tribe.
