FREE BACK TO SCHOOL HAIRCUTS.

It is true that lots of us can afford to have our children's hair cut in local barbers and salons.
But to those on low income or benefits this costs money, they dont have.

We have four wonderful hairdressers that have volunteered to come along to
The NEST community hub 26 Station rd. Dovercourt on
Thursday 27th August
From 10.00am until 1.30pm

So far I have one lovely person who will come along on Sunday 30th August ( same place same time) for our second event, but still looking for more

They are happy to TRIM/CUT BOYS AND GIRLS HAIR FOR FREE.

There will be tea, coffee and soft drinks plus biscuits for all.

Just turn up you will be very welcome.

NEST HUB 26 Station rd. Dovercourt CO12 3AL
Thurs 27th Sunday 30th 10.30AM until 1.30pm
Thank you so very much, to all the lovely hairdressers and NEST volunteers that are supporting this event and making it happen ###x

HI ALL GREAT NEWS THURSDAY COVERED PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU CAN CUT ON SUNDAY 30TH AUGUST I CAN OFFER BOTH DAYS ###
Hi Facebook friends so sorry another Les Nicoll ask.
As we think about our children going back to school in September.
I am aware that part of the preparation is a simple haircut/ trim.
Whilst many of us can afford this living on benefits or a small budget make the cost the same as dinner

I want to set up two FREE haircut days at our NEST community hub

I do need to make this happen

SOME VOLUNTEER QUALIFED HAIRDRESSERS.
I plan that we will offer simple trims to tidy up the children before school.

I want to hold these between 10.00am and 1.30pm on Thursday 27th and Sunday 30th.
Please if qualified and able to help can you let me know by Friday so I can quickly organise
Thank you so much
Les xx

Hi Facebook friends
Sadly our beaten up old NEST delivery van is terminally ill.
After years of dedicated community service.
Delivered with barely a hitch, beds, bedding, chests of drawers to children and struggling families.
Christmas food, presents to hundreds of families.
Warm winter clothing to those struggling in the cold.
Shopped and delivered meals during lockdown
Riser recliners, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other items to disabled and elderly people,
It has moved warm winter clothing for winter warmers, prom dresses and suits
It has moved people to places of safety, Supported many other local charities, churches and individuals.

It is now ready for a rest and we are looking for a younger replacement.

Frankly I know nothing about cars and vans so will be the easiest person in the world to get turned over by some sharp salesman.

If you know of a reasonably priced van for sale.
If you know more about mechanics, bartering
And bodywork.
If your company is selling one
We are looking for similar to our old van, (see picture) perhaps a little higher inside, or a little longer
Not too high a mileage, clean good condition
Please message me
Thanks so much ###

Please share the hell out of this on your community sites, on your school, WhatsApp groups, with your family friends and neighbours

We are all aware of the cost for young people to enjoy their school prom.
We are equally aware that lots of young people will not be able to attend their Prom because parents who cannot even afford to feed their families or heat their home certainly cannot afford for their children to go to their school prom.
We know that others get into terrible debt, that, credit cards, Payday loan companies, high interest loan companies and worse of all dangerous violent illegal money lenders are all circling like sharks around families right now.

WE WILL BE GIVING AWAY COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE Prom Dresses, Suits, shoes, accessories, and bling.
Yes that is right FREE OF CHARGE, not hired not lent, yours to take away and keep.

So if you are free from 12.00 midday on Friday 10th April (tomorrow) to set up It would be amazing.

If you can help on the day supporting the changing rooms, helping people sort the dress/suit of their Dreams, Help clear down After the event
