The mission of HELP Initiative, Inc. is to improve the quality of life, health, safety, and economic prospects of Delaware’s low-income communities through impactful, no-cost and educational programs, including:
• Home energy evaluations and recommendations at no cost to low-income residents
• High-efficiency lighting, heating, and weatherization initiatives
• Community education on energy usage and cost-saving behaviors
• Identification of in-home health and safety hazards
• Increased access to youth vocational training and job opportunities
• Reducing long-term dependence on social-service-based programs
