Dr Elizabeth Tynan is not wrong with her words.

In 2022, I was invited to provide evidence of Operation Mosaic’s G2’s fallout as 98kt rather than 60kt by the UKHSA Research Website. I was told the amendment would be made.

I have written to Dr Richard Haylock twice to provide this evidence, once under the British Nuclear Test Veterans’ Association, and once under Breached CIC.

On both occasions, the emails were opened and ignored.

The UK government website still states 60kt and this is wholly and .

The I used, which was from an paper, I have in my possession, written by at the time. One was William Penney himself, chief scientist.

Guess what?

No response and no amendment.

There’s a reason for this, as outlined below.

“The British do keep their secrets," according to James Cook University researcher Elizabeth Tynan.

"The Australian government did not know what the British were doing and still to this day does not really know what was done on our territory."

Some estimates put the explosive strength of G2 as high as 98 kilotons or about six times that of the bomb that devastated Hiroshima in 1945.”

Secrecy continues to shroud the biggest bomb ever exploded on Australian soil, 70 years after it was detonated during the Cold War arms race.

Rest in peace Roger Cook, the original dangerman and mentor

Anatoly Kharlampiyovych Kurguz (1957–1986) was a Senior Reactor Operator at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 4.

On the night of the explosion on April 26, 1986, he was severely exposed when radioactive steam burst into his workspace. He suffered extensive thermal burns combined with a massive radiation dose of approximately 670 rad (6.7 Gy).

He was transferred to Moscow’s Hospital No. 6, where doctors fought to save him. The photograph above shows his heavily bandaged body and the external fixators applied to his hands and arms. These metal frames were used to keep his severely burned fingers separated and immobilized, preventing them from sticking together and allowing medical staff better access for wound care.

Despite all efforts, Anatoly Kurguz succumbed to acute radiation syndrome on May 12, 1986, at the age of 28.

This haunting image remains one of the most powerful and tragic testimonies to the human suffering caused by the Chernobyl disaster.

At the onset of the Manhattan Project, leadership became concerned with recruiting and retraining young scientists and engineers, especially as draft regulations became increasingly strenuous. On May 22, 1943, the Army established a Special Engineer Detachment (SED). The first SEDs arrived in Oak Ridge by late July, followed shortly with a company in Los Alamos by August 1943. By the end of the war, Los Alamos would employ over 1800 SEDs and Oak Ridge had over 1200.

A SED, Val Fitch, later remembered this from his time in Los Alamos, “We lived in single floor barracks, roughly 60 men to a unit… We ate in an army mess hall… We lined up each week to get fresh linen, and once a month to get paid. Reveille came at 6 am, and we had calisthenics from 6:30 to 7:00. We could not leave the barracks for work on Saturday mornings until after inspection of quarters, nominally at 8:00. We worked in… the Tech Area six days a week. It was the army and still it wasn't the army because in the Tech Area we worked alongside, and were beholden to, civilians.”

I’m delighted to share that I’ve been invited to become a trustee, and accepted the position, by a marvellous, tried and tested, utterly superb charity close to me that specialises in **e

This says it all… the charity printed tri-fold leaflets in 1997. In 2017, a walked in with one of these leaflets and said she had stored it until she was ready

This also shows that my and will not have the last word. Their evil is perpetually turned to good.

I felt a wonderful and warm smile on bearing the news today, for all the right reasons.

I won’t name names yet but will do so in due course. There’s nothing like using for good and regarding .

Do you recognise this man? 👀

A witness believed he had served in the Armed Forces and had been living rough in Canterbury before his death in February 2017. Nine years on, he has not been identified.

He had blue eyes, short white hair and a full beard. He was found with a suitcase and a wedding catalogue addressed to 'Mandy Martin.'
