Looking for something creative to do this half-term with the children? Why not get the paints, pencils and imagination out and enter the Poundbury Rotary Club and Casterbridge Rotary Club, Dorchester, Dorset Young Artist Competition!
Our theme is FRIENDSHIP
What does friendship mean to your children? It could be spending time with friends, helping someone who needs it, making a new friend, or showing kindness to others. We can’t wait to see the wonderful ways our entrants bring the theme to life!
A few ideas to get your young artists started this half-term:
🎨 Draw or paint a picture of with friends during the half term break.
🐾 Create artwork showing how animals can be our friends.
💛 Illustrate an act of kindness or someone helping another person.
🌈 Imagine a world where everyone feels included and has a friend.
We have already received some fantastic entries - one of which is pictured here.
Our competition is open to young artists aged up to 17, so there’s plenty of opportunity to get creative!
There is no need to be a professional artist — just imagination and have fun. Every picture tells a story, and we’d love to see yours!
