This evening the youngsters were told about what happened when people found the empty tomb Jesus had been layed in and learned the handsign for resurrection, one youngster can do all the hand signs so far by memory which is really clever. They then played a game of ball tag which they enjoyed, then they played twister, we had a boy visiting today too to see if he will enjoy Boys Brigade so may soon have a new recruit

This evening we sang a song about all the things we do when we are happy, then the youngsters started to learn some things about drumming (to start with being sat a little far away because the snare drum was quite loud in the hall) and xylophone teaching them this evening how to hold their drumstick and a little about rhythm and the Bass drum and what songs they could learn on the xylophone. We finished the evening with some table tennis

They then learned about the north star and orions belt and how to tell which way is n,s,e,w at night. We ended the evening looking at some old photos of 2nd Dorchester in the 1990s.

To start us off with our new term the youngsters told us about times they have done things silly and regretted them and we spoke to them about why parents, teachers and others teach them, often from mistakes they've made to help guide them, and we quoted from Proverbs wher it says not to despise the wisdom and instructions from your Mother and Father.
We played a team relay race and 20 questions. Then to finish off we learned about different constellations and had to make our own with milky way magic stars.
