A huge thank you and well done to the incredible Wadworth residents who turned out in force today for the Great British Spring Clean litter pick, in spite of the slightly gloomy weather.

Huge thank you to Doncaster Council for providing the equipment and the amazing White Hart Wadworth for their warm welcome, hospitality and complimentary food afterwards.

I think we win for having the youngest litter picker in Doncaster!

The Parish Council are delighted with the response to previous posts about the Community Speed Watch Scheme.

A couple of willing volunteers have already put their names forward. Thank you so much!

In order to get the scheme back up and running, simple training from existing volunteers will need to be provided. It will also work better, the more people that are involved.

So, if you used to volunteer for the scheme and would like to continue to be involved or if anyone else would like to join, please contact Councillor Helen Smyth on the contact email below:

The Parish Council takes your concerns about crime and safety seriously.

At last month's meeting, concerns were raised about crime in the village and as such, we approached South Yorkshire Police (SYP) to ask for a representative to attend a future meeting.

We are delighted to confirm, that at next week's meeting, on Thursday 12th March, Police Sergeant, Chris Rogers from the South of Doncaster's Neighbourhood Policing Team, will be in attendance.

We hope that Chris will be able to provide some insight into crime in the village, what SYP are doing to address this and what residents can do to protect against crime.

All Wadworth residents are welcome to attend:
