On this very hot and sunny day, Your Ward Councillor Bob Anderson alongside Rob from the Royal Carehome and Happyhearts, visited the Rossington Good Neighbours to present them with the Choose Kindness Trophy 🏆💙
The Rossington Good Neighbours were chosen by The Rossington Tigers in recognition of the incredible dedication, kindness, and hard work they have given to our older residents of Rossington for the last 60 years — preparing, cooking, serving, and delivering dinners with care and compassion 🫶🏼
What an absolutely amazing achievement for a community group to have supported people for over half a century! Every single person who has been part of the group over those 60 years should feel incredibly proud of the difference they have made to so many lives.
This award is so very well deserved 💙
Congratulations Rossington Good Neighbours — you are all absolutely fabulous 👏🏼🥰

Onwards it goes on its journey — our Choose Kindness Trophy 🫶🏼

And honestly, we couldn’t think of a better choice for this month’s recipient.

Carly Ann, who was presented with the trophy last month, has chosen… drum roll please 🥁

TIGERS OF ROSSINGTON 💞👏🏼

What an absolutely amazing choice!

The Tigers not only voluntarily raise money for schools, clubs, care homes, and many other organisations and community facilities, they also support individuals who are facing different challenges and needs.

They are a truly fantastic group of people, and Rossington is lucky to have them.

Thank you, Tigers, for all you do for Rossington, and congratulations on receiving the Choose Kindness Trophy 💞👏🏼 xx

💙 **Choose kindness Trophy**💙
So today the Choose Trophy moved on its journey through Rossington community... from the well deserved bread and butties thing to an amazing young lady Carly Ann ..
Carly is an outstanding member of Rossington community who against all the heartbreaking pain of loosing her child ...she has gone and still goes above and beyond to raise money for charities and individuals who struggle in Rossington and around Doncaster in honour of her beautiful daughter Savannah🩷..she asks for no recognition or anything in return ..honestly what a truly special young lady she is and we were proud and honoured to pass her the trophy today ..
Thank you so much Carly Ann for all you do for Rossington so so well deserved 💙
