Well folks we finally got round to eating the home grown cabbage and spuds and of course bacon. (Bacon not home grown) lol. By the looks off all the clean plates everyone all enjoyed nice home cooked meal. Thank you the amazing volunteers for all their hard work.

EDDIT TO POST ::Due to unforeseen circumstances the cosy club is canceled tomorrow. But we will be back the following Tuesday with the bacon cabbage and spuds. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well folks we back at it tomorrow again. Hope ye all are enjoying this lovely weather and keeping hydrated. Well the day has come the prep underway for big feed of home grown potatoes and cabbage and of course bacon.

We as a club would like to send our condolences to the family of Elizabeth (Lillian). May she rest in eternal peace and will be sadly missed by the members and volunteers.

The death has occurred of

Elizabeth GALLAGHER (née Kerr)

GALLAGHER, (née Kerr), 29th June 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Altnagelvin Hospital, ELIZABETH, (formerly of 11 Dunaff Gardens), beloved wife of the late Charles, loving mother of Martin, Elizabeth and Thomas, devoted grandmother of Jonathan, Paul, Pierce and Emmett. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle, friends and neighbours.

Elizabeth will be reposing in the community room, St. Mary’s Church, Creggan on Tuesday 30th June from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan on Wednesday 1st July at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.

Well what a glorious day it was and the spuds and cabbage are flying up. Not long till we all have a good feed. Club back open tomorrow from 11-1 down Donal Casey court main building. Hope to see ye all back and maybe few new faces. 😎☀️🌞
