🎄 Wonderful news for COSY Club—we’ve been awarded £1,000 through Woven’s WoFund Awards 2026! 🙌

This will support our Cosy & Woven Christmas Connections Day, bringing COSY members and residents of Donal Casey Court together for wreath-making, a shared buffet, live music and a festive visit from Santa.

We’re delighted to build on our longstanding partnership with Woven, creating opportunities for friendship and helping make Christmas feel less lonely. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Woven, everyone who supported our project at the voting evening, and our members and volunteers.

We can’t wait to bring this special day to life! 🎅✨

💜🧡 **What a Wonderful Evening of Community Connections!** 🧡💜

What a fantastic evening we had at the Woven Housing Association WoFund Community Funding Voting Event at the Balmoral Hotel in Belfast on Wednesday evening! 🌟 supported by the programme.
We were delighted to represent **COSY Club – Citizens of Senior Years** and share our plans for our **Christmas Connections Day**, bringing COSY Club members and Woven residents together for a festive celebration filled with friendship, laughter, music, activities and Christmas cheer. 🎄🎅

A huge thank you to Margaret and everyone at Woven for organising such a welcoming and inspiring event and giving community groups the opportunity to showcase the wonderful work happening across our communities.

It was an absolute pleasure meeting so many fantastic charities and community organisations, hearing about their projects, sharing ideas and making new connections. 🤝❤️

We're especially excited about the possibility of arranging visits between our groups in the New Year, creating even more opportunities for friendship and bringing people together.

At COSY Club, our aim has always been to **reduce loneliness, promote wellbeing and ensure older people feel valued, included and connected.** 💜

We're keeping everything crossed as we await the funding results next week! 🤞🎄

Whatever the outcome, we're so grateful to have been part of such a wonderful evening.

**Together, we can make our communities stronger and help make sure nobody feels alone.** ❤️

I would just like to say what a wonderful day we had in coleraine yesterday. Thaw day was filled with games food and of course a lovely cup of tea. The craic was nighty and all members got on so well that it was like catching up with old buddies

I would like to thank Lynda from Rothesay court for housing our club and all choice residents as well. We hope to return the favour next spring some time and looking forward to seeing all the amazing tents we met yesterday.

Also a massive thank you to Choice Housing for sponsoring our bus and of course massive thank you to Nicole Mac for all hard work behind the scenes as well to bring this day together.
