Fancy joining a café with a difference?
Brew & Banter is looking for a Café Chef/Cook to join our team and help shape the next stage of our growing café.
This is an opportunity to bring your skills, personality and ideas into the kitchen, with genuine input into our menus, daily specials and the future direction of Brew & Banter.
THE ROLE
💷 £16 per hour
🕒 35 hours per week
📅 Monday to Friday
☀️ 9.00am–5.00pm
🏡 No evenings or weekends
✅ Sociable, consistent working pattern

Brew & Banter is a not-for-profit social enterprise with a purpose beyond the café itself. All funds generated are reinvested in supporting and growing community services and good causes.
Each year, our work helps:
🍲 Deliver more than 23,000 meals to older and vulnerable adults
💙 Provide 54,000 hours of Day Care, engagement and respite for vulnerable adults and their families
💷 Help more than 3,000 people access benefits and financial support to which they are entitled
🛍️ Support more than 5,000 people through an affordable.

From the very beginning, Brew & Banter has been shaped by the community. Even its name and logo were created by children from a local primary school.
Every dish created, every plate served and every customer welcomed helps generate funds that are reinvested in making a positive difference throughout our community.
