🌟 We're Hiring - Early Years Assistant 🌟

Do you have a passion for supporting young children to learn, grow and thrive? The Resource Centre Derry is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Assistant to join our dedicated team.

✅ 30 hours per week
✅ £12.80 per hour
✅ Fixed-term, term-time contract funded until 31 March 2027 (Contract may be extended subject to the continuation of funding)
✅ Opportunity to work within our Early Years Services, supporting children and families in a safe, caring and welcoming environment.
Closing Date 30/10/2026 at 12pm applications received after this time will not be accepted.

Essential Criteria: • QCF Level 3 Children's Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent)
• Minimum 6 months' experience in a formal early years setting (paid, voluntary, training or placement)

We're looking for someone who can:
✨ Build positive relationships with children and parents
✨ Work effectively as part of a team
✨ Support children's learning and development through play
✨ Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for every child

Successful applicants may also be placed on a waiting list for future vacancies arising within the next 9 months.
