Our Mickleover The official Facebook presence for Our Mickleover “Our Mickleover” – it’s a simple name, a simple concept. We’re a mixed bunch of folk.

A community group run by the community for the benefit of the community. Some are members of local clubs or churches. Others work in, or own, local shops and businesses. Several have children attending our nurseries and schools, others teach those children. All of us have a vested interest in Mickleover as a community and that’s why we’re coming together.

Derby College (Broomfield Hall) horticulture students have been working on a great project this week, refreshing the Community Centre garden.
They have worked really hard and done a great job so far - as you can see in the photos.
They will be back over the coming weeks and next spring - we are excited to see the design come to life in the summer 🌷🌻🌸
